Eremite

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

In short: Eremite doesn't collect any of your data. Everything you create stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.

Data you create

Your campaigns, journal entries, maps, sketches, characters, tables, images, drawings, and voice memos are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us, and we have no way to see them.

Like other app data, they're included in your device's iCloud or computer backups if you have backups turned on. Deleting the app deletes this data from the device.

Permissions

Eremite asks for a permission only when you use a feature that needs it, and you can change your choice at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details or any personal information about you.

Sharing and exporting

When you export or share something, such as your journal or a map snapshot, it goes only where you choose to send it using the iOS share sheet.

Links to other sites

The app links to our Discord server and subreddit. Those services have their own privacy policies.

This website

eremite.app uses no cookies and no analytics. It's hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log visitors' IP addresses for security purposes, as described in GitHub's Privacy Statement.

Children

Eremite doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
